Chila Nerangalil Chilar is the upcoming Malayalam flick which will be directed by the debutant named Sreenivasan Parameshwaran and the hero of the film will be a popular director of Mollywood named Aji john Who had changed his name to Ajith Aryan. Aji John is famous as the director of box office success like  Hotel California starred Jayasurya and Anoop Menon. Aji John (Ajith Aryan) is the screenwriter of Chila Nerangalil Chilar as well. And the director Sreenivasan Parameshwaran had the experience of assisting master director Balu mahendra and he learned the craft under the perfect guidance of the veteran director.

This film will be produced by Milestone movie makers and the main location where the film is planned to shoot is Mumbai, Matheran and Maljesh ghatt. Sanjana Galrani who is the sister of actress Nikki Galrani will play the lead female character in this film along with Parankimala film fame actress Vinutha Lal. The other artists who is working in this film is P Balachandran, Sudheesh, Ashokan, Devi Ajith, J P, Prasanth Philip etc. Prajith Bhaskar will be the DOP of the film and Ajith Aryan himself will be the editor of the film as well.

Story

‘Driver on Duty’ narrates the interesting story of the incidents that occur when a male police officer joins as the driver of an all woman police station. Abhirami plays the female lead role as S I Arundhati Varma of Elathoor police station, which has only women police officers. Due to certain bitter past experiences, she is a misandrist (One who hates men). 

Janani Iyer is also seen in an important role. Asif Ali does the role of Ramakrishnan, the driver cum police constable. Though he is an engineering graduate, his mother forced him to accept the first Government job that he gets. Arundhati kicks out all male officers who join the station as the driver. 

At this juncture, Ramakrishnan joins there and as usual Arundhati tries all the tricks to throw him out. But Ramakrishnan is a different kind of person and the resulting events are plotted in ‘Driver on Duty’. Sruthilakshmi, Sajitha Madathil, Krishna Prabha, Sudheer Karamana, Shaju, Sunil Sugatha also do important roles. 

‘Driver on Duty’ is directed by Manoj Palodan and produced by Ravi Kottarakkara under the banner of Ganesh Pictures. Hari Nair wields the camera and Sumesh Parameswaran is the music director.
